My Birthday Haul

As it was my birthday on Thursday, I thought I’d do a little birthday haul post to show you guys what I had as gifts and what I bought myself with money I received.
To start with Chris bought me some gorgeous high waisted skinny jeans and sandals from New Look (which I didn’t take a photo off, so I’ll show you the images from the website).

Chris’s parents came to visit last Saturday and we paid a visit to TK Maxx where they treated me to some new sunglasses, mine were getting really tatty looking so it was time for an upgrade!

It’s a bugs life!

On Thursday we paid a visit to Resort World in Birmingham, next to the NEC. If you’ve never been and you live in the local area definitely pay a visit, they have outlet shops, restaurants and bars, there’s even a cinema, hotel, casino and a spa in it, wow! With the generous amount of birthday money I’d received I managed to get a new pair of Vans trainers, as my old ones were in a terrible state (my toe poked out the top whenever I wore them)!
After that we tootled round to the Gap outlet where I found two really cute vest tops and a workout top in the clearance, bargain!

Friday bought about more shopping, with the original plan being to drive down to Bicester Village, but in the morning I sort of calculated that the money I had left would of meant I could only buy like one thing, which meant it wasn’t really worth the drive. Chris promised me we’d find better stuff in Merry Hill so off we went! First up I zipped straight to TK Maxx (is there anywhere better?!) as I really wanted a new purse and a new black handbag. Straight away I found a beautiful Nica handbag and then a Fiorelli purse, so I was a happy bunny once more!

Next stop was Primark where I only meant to look at the homeware and ended up buying 4 tops, one of them being Disney and pyjamas (I am a sucker for new pyjamas). The picture shows my Primark bits and the tops I got from Gap, the blue Squat Goals and red starry vest top are the Gap ones. The other vest top was the same style as the red one, but it was white with little watermelons on them. Sadly I couldn’t include it in the photos as I was having to wash it due to a stain I’d noticed.

The last bits I bought was a giant Yankee Candle in Pink Sands, which I think smells absolutely incredible, it has a hint of watermelon and just smells so light and refreshing. I also picked up one of those lovely lids that sort of make your candle look like a lamp when it’s lit.

I feel so happy with my purchases, I’m actually really glad I went to Merry Hill instead of Bicester Village as I got way more stuff and it was actually bits that I’ve wanted for ages. I do intend on going to Bicester soon, maybe early next year, so if I do I’ll do a post on that.
